Our specialist registered nursing home is specifically for adults with complex physical and neurological disabilities is situated in Grays, Essex. The unique home focuses on providing an individualised service ensuring that people are treated as individuals and their nursing needs do not overshadow their choices and personality.
Acquired Head/Brain Injury, Complex Needs, Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairment Huntington’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke, Cerebral Palsy and other complex physical health needs.
We support 13 people with their day- to-day support needs such as personal care or accessing the community, managing medication, pain, wound care, PEG feeds, tracheostomy, oxygen support and catheters.
Each person has a support and care plan that reflects their needs and aspirations. Staff regularly review these plans with all concerned to ensure that they’re in line with wants and needs. We also work closely with external professionals such as GPs, dieticians, speech and language therapists, tissue viability services and wheelchair clinics, all of who will make regular visits to the home.
We’re always made to feel extremely welcome when we visit which is lovely and kept well informed on Nicky’s well-being. The home manager handles things in a very professional manner, being supportive to residents, visitors and staff needs. We would not have Nicky reside anywhere else
Every time we visited my mum she always had a massive smile on her face and that was down to the amazing care she received
